I’ve been somewhat overtaken by life outside of blogging these past few days, but I did have an opportunity just this morning to catch a few articles by Andy Firth over at “abolish the bank of England” – such as “do we ever need to create more money“.
Andy lays out clear denunciations of the central-banking notion that we need to “create” money to allow the economy to grow, which is, of course, absurd. It inverts correlation and causality in perverse ways. The only real purpose is to defend the wealth transfer from the poor to the rich (and by “rich” I mean the particular group of the rich – the banking class and their acolytes and hangers-on) … and perhaps to support their sense of entitlement and self-import.
Off to work now. Everybody have a great day.
